Euro zone composite PMI beats expectations in August

The composite reading of 51.4 exceeded the 50.8 consensus in this sample dataset and marked the strongest print in four months.
Services drove the improvement, while the manufacturing sub-index remained below 50 for a fourth consecutive month.
The single currency barely reacted, holding 1.0942, with rate expectations for the remainder of the quarter already anchored.
